See, people… if iJustine is to Steve Jobs, then Xee Momma is to Matt Mullenweg.

I’m a fangirl. I love WordPress and… Matt. So when I found out that there was going to be a WordCamp here, and that Mr. WordPress is coming as well, I registered within the blink of an eye.

And you know, I thought I’d have to push and shove to get to him, and I had been so ready for that. Thank goodness, I didn’t have to. And though I looked dorky lugging my laptop and webcam around, I didn’t care. I made kapal my mukha and shouted, “Excuse me, Matt” to get his attention. It was a good thing Ria Jose heard me (the crowd was a bit loud) and nudged him. I’m so grateful to her.

Only a row of seats away, I got Matt to say “hi” on my stream. *faints from fangirlishness*

My full take on WordCamp Philippines will be up later, maliligo muna ko. I am just too excited to post this kasi.

Expecting a really big crowd, I thought I’d have to be so darned lucky to get close to Matt Mullenweg during WordCamp Philippines. And you know what, I was one darned lucky girl.

Another vid will be uploaded after this one, and it’s gonna be soooo much better.

Update: Now that WordCamp Philippines has adjourned (there will be one next year, right?), I’m gathering whatever of the stream I’ve recorded yesterday. Will post them here when it’s done.

My Alex turned 2 years old yesterday. Time flies so darn fast.

We spent yesterday afternoon at the Huggies Exploring Together event at SM Megamall. We didn’t have to swap diapers because Alex had been a Huggies wearer since he was two weeks old.

There were so many kids and Alex had so much fun. I think we played there for a little more than two hours. By the time we left Alex was too tired and was making such a racket because he wanted to on stage, and I was already too tired from running after him all afternoon.

We had to stay at the waiting area for a bit because there were too many kids at the play area. But it’s ok because there was the Care Bears DVD playing and Alex got to fiddle around with crayons. Actually he kept busy putting the crayons back into the basket when the other kids were done. Mr. Ligpit. Hahaha.

Alex did got around to coloring, and somehow learned to share the crayons with the other kids, which I think was rather nice.

And did I mention there were lots of children? He had a blast socializing with them.

He did associate the shapes with their correct names. Woot!

Nevertheless, as tiring as it had been, I was happy because my little big boy had a great day meeting and playing with new friends on his birthday.
